Set up an IPTV subscription on Android TV and streaming boxes

Android TV sets and small streaming boxes are among the easiest ways to use an IPTV subscription, because the player is installed from the store or from a file support sends you. This guide covers what you need and what happens at each step.

What you need first

A device running Android TV or Google TV, or a small streaming box that plugs into an HDMI port.

Setting it up

Wait for the channel list and library to finish loading. The first load can take a few minutes depending on the package and your connection.

Try a live channel and then a title from the library, so you know both work.

If something goes wrong

• Repeated buffering: try a lower quality, a wired connection, or pause downloads on the same network while watching
• Empty channel list: close the player completely and reopen it, and check the device is online
• An error message: photograph it and send it to support with your model, and never post your password in a public group
